Gig Workers’ Hub

The Gig Workers’ Hub was a staffroom, community centre, and organising space run for and by Melbourne’s platform-based food delivery riders. Over the course of the project, we raised over A$120,000, primarily from delivery platforms themselves. While the space has closed, initiative lives on as a mutual support network with over 70 rider members.

The Staffroom

This short film traces the impact, closure, and legacy of Melbourne’s Gig Workers’ Hub. Through video interviews and self-portraits, it capture moments of exhaustion, rest, laughter, solidarity, and reflection shared among Hub members at the margins of urban life.

Melbourne Art Library

MAL is a community-run lending library focused on art and design texts. It offers an accessible alternative to institutional or university libraries, with a strong emphasis on cultural events. While running events and contributing as a board member, I led the fitout of MAL’s space at Testing Grounds. This involved designing the layout, building partitions, and sourcing furniture and other materials.
